We've done a little puppy sitting for trainer Jake's new boxer puppy, Columbu (named for Franco Columbu, famed strongman and bodybuilder). He's a good puppy with a very loving and laid-back disposition.

'Tis that time of year again!  Swim meets!  Both kids are swimming for the Blacksburg Country Club Barracudas and doing it all - free, back, breast, fly, IM, relays. Even mom (me) is getting into the action swimming free and breast for the team (I love being in the 'girls 15 & over').

Berry picking

Went berry picking at Crow's Nest.  The bushes were just overflowing with fragrant ripe fruit!  We came away with enough berries to freeze that should last us for months.

Note the guilty party - ingesting an unpaid-for berry!!

4-H Camp

This report is a little late, but Spencer had a GREAT time at 4-H camp at the Skelton 4-H Center at Smith Mountain Lake.  Below is a link to some photos that he took with his disposable camera!
